Delete your PLYSE account

You can delete your PLYSE account at any time, free of charge. Deleting it permanently removes your account and the data linked to it from PLYSE. It can't be undone.

1. Delete your account in PLYSE

Account deletion is done on the PLYSE website, from any browser, including the one on your phone:

  1. Sign in to PLYSE with the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Choose Security.
  4. Under Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete my account permanently.

Want a copy of your data first? On the same Security page, Download my data gives you a file with your account data before you delete it.

Have PLYSE Premium? Deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately, so it won't renew.

2. What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in details (email address, password, sign-in sessions).
  • Your profile: display name and profile picture.
  • Your preferences: platforms, genres, region, language, currency, time zone and notification settings.
  • Your followed games, your list (library and game status) and your price watches.
  • Followed studios and events, and event reminders.
  • Your history of updates you opened, and the personalization signals linked to your account.
  • Your devices, push notification subscriptions, notification records and which alerts you opened or dismissed.
  • Your Premium waitlist entry, if you joined it with this account or its email address.

3. What may be kept, and for how long

As our Privacy Policy explains:

  • Copies can remain in our providers' backups for a limited time until they are overwritten.
  • Billing records, once Premium launches, are kept by Paddle and us for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
  • Data saved on your device without an account (for example your list and settings in your browser) is not sent to us and stays on your device until you clear it.

4. Can't sign in?

Email support@plyse.app from the email address on your PLYSE account, with the subject "Delete my PLYSE account". We may need to confirm it's you before acting, and we will reply within the time the law requires.
